Activities & Amenities at Bear River Lodge

At Bear River Lodge there are plenty of things to keep you busy when you aren’t riding a snowmobile, side-by-side, or ATV. We have two privately stocked fishing ponds, an outdoor swimming pool in the summer, hot tubs open year- round, the Bear River Lodge Grill for breakfast, lunch, or an early dinner, and multiple hiking trails just a short distance from our parking lot. Come visit us for your vacation and make memories to last a lifetime!

Everyone from the pinpoint dry fly caster to the littlest worm-drowning youngster will find the fishing action to be the ultimate mountain fishing experience. Pristine, uncrowded mountain streams, crystal-clear high-altitude lakes, and quiet, well-stocked ponds right on the Lodge property provide a little bit of everything for every freshwater fisherman. Not so much into fishing? We also offer fish food to watch the fish jump for these tasty treats!

  • State fishing licenses are not required to fish in either of our private ponds; licenses are required to fish on the Bear River, licenses are not sold at this location.

Relax this summer in our community outdoor pool. We have a full-size in-ground heated pool featuring two large capacity hot tubs to ease your sore muscles.

The pool is generally open from Mid-June through

Labor Day*Weather permitting

Hot tubs are open year-round, and each seats 12 people maximum

  • Pool hours: 8:00 am to 10:30 pm.

  • Cabin Towels cannot be used at the pool; please bring beach towels from home.

  • An adult must accompany children under the age of 14. We do not have lifeguards on duty.

  • No glass containers or food are allowed inside the pool gated area.

  • According to county health regulations, there are no diaper-aged children in the pool without an approved swim diaper.

  • No children under the age of 5 are allowed in hot tubs.

*Non-Cabin guests may access our pool facilities for

$8.00 per person for a day pass.*

We only rent the industry's latest and greatest models, so rest assured you will have a dependable adventure!

 

Jump on a snowmobile and access thousands of miles of groomed snowmobile trails, or get off the trail and hit untouched powder in fantastic backcountry.

Have an adventure on a side by side that seats up to six passengers! We border the national forest, where you will find mile after mile of marked trails to explore, right from your cabin.

 

Trails are available for all levels of experience.

Mountain Road

Mirror Lake Scenic Byway

Time: 2 Hours Each Way

Length: 65 Miles

Heading south directly from the lodge, drive right through the national forest. Mirror Lake Highway is one of the most famous mountain routes in the state.

The road winds through farm and ranch lands and rises to a heavily forested mountain terrain, accented by meadows and rugged peaks.

There are numerous access points into the

high Uinta Wilderness along the way. Keep your eyes open wide; the chances of you spotting innumerable amounts of different wildlife are high! Moose, deer, elk, coyotes, and more, are easy year-round thrills.

We have world-class cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at The Cabins at Bear River Lodge.

Access the fantastic Lily Lake cross-country ski trail. The trail starts at your cabin's front door! This trail is groomed weekly with track setters, totaling 30 pristine miles.

YURT SHUTTLES:

We offer shuttle services to the National Forest Yurts.

Sunday-Thursday. $250.00 (each way) up to 4 people max.

We are not associated with Bear River Outdoor Recreation Alliance Yurts.

Enjoy a wide range of gourmet burgers, deliciously seasoned potato slices, and designer pancakes at our local grill,  "The Den." Be sure to top of your tasty meal with an over-sized ice cream cone or gourmet shake. (We'll let you in on a little secret. We have dole whip.) 

Enjoy amazing views while relaxing in our exclusive outdoor seating area. Experience The Den during the thick of winter with our enclosed, outdoor gazebo. Stay nice and toasty while you enjoy your meal and watch the snowfall!

our general store. 

Christmas tree tags are generally available starting Mid November - December.

We typically sell out by the second week in December!

These Permits Must Be Purchased In Our General Store.
