At Bear River Lodge there are plenty of things to keep you busy when you aren’t riding a snowmobile, side-by-side, or ATV. We have two privately stocked fishing ponds, an outdoor swimming pool in the summer, hot tubs open year- round, the Bear River Lodge Grill for breakfast, lunch, or an early dinner, and multiple hiking trails just a short distance from our parking lot. Come visit us for your vacation and make memories to last a lifetime!

SWIMMING POOL
HOT TUBS

Relax in our heated outdoor pool and two large hot tubs.

Pool: Mid-June–Labor Day (weather permitting)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 10:30 PM
Hot Tubs: Open year-round (12-person max each)

  • Bring your own beach towels

  • No lifeguard on duty; children under 14 require adult supervision

  • No glass or food inside pool area

  • Swim diapers required for diaper-aged children

  • No children under 5 in hot tubs

Day Pass (Non-Cabin Guests): $8 per person

FISHING

Enjoy the ultimate mountain fishing experience with pristine streams, high-altitude lakes, and well-stocked private ponds right on the property — perfect for anglers of all ages and skill levels. Not into fishing? Grab some fish food at the General Store and watch the fish jump!

Catch & Release (Private Ponds Only)

  • $15 per pole (1 hour)

  • $30 per pole (full day)

  • Pole & tackle rental: +$15

No state license required for private ponds.
A Utah license is required to fish the Bear River (not sold on-site).

SCENIC DRIVES

Mirror Lake Scenic BywayTime: 2 Hours Each WayLength: 65 Miles

 

Heading south directly from the lodge, drive right through the national forest. Mirror Lake Highway is one of the most famous mountain routes in the state.

The road winds through farm and ranch lands and rises to a heavily forested mountain terrain, accented by meadows and rugged peaks.

There are numerous access points into the

high Uinta Wilderness along the way. Keep your eyes open wide; the chances of you spotting innumerable amounts of different wildlife are high! Moose, deer, elk, coyotes, and more, are easy year-round thrills.

YURT SHUTTLES:

We offer shuttle services to the National Forest Yurts.

Sunday-Thursday. $250.00 (each way) up to 4 people max.

We are not associated with Bear River Outdoor Recreation Alliance Yurts.

SNOWSHOEING & 
CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING

We have world-class cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at The Cabins at Bear River Lodge.​Access the fantastic Lily Lake cross-country ski trail. The trail starts at your cabin's front door! This trail is groomed weekly with track setters, totaling 30 pristine miles.​

our general store. 

Christmas tree tags are generally available starting Mid November - December.

We typically sell out by the second week in December!
